The Henry Moses Aquatics Center was built in 2003 and is a regional outdoor recreation pool facility. It has a large wave pool with zero beach entry, a lap pool, water slides, splash pad, and lazy river. ARC Architects and our team of engineers were hired in 2021 to provide an assessment of the existing facility, provide near term renovation recommendations, and long term feasibilty study for an additional indoor aquatics center.

The City would like to expand the facility with an indoor pool for year round swimming. The design team considered several options for the new pool location, services, and site access.  This new facility would provide a new 25-yard pool for lessons, therapy, and lap swim. The site design focused on accessibility, large outdoor gathering spaces, providing shaded areas, and space to accommodate picnic tables and food truck vendors.
