South Whidbey Aquatic Center

Langley, WA

South Whidbey community has been working to develop an aquatic center for many years. In early 2023, ARC Architects was selected to lead the design and coordinate the public outreach for this new recreation facility. With 2 well attended public meetings led by ARC and with a robust, owner driven outreach campaign, the bond passed with 61% approval in November 2023. The design connects each space to nature and the outdoors, with views of the woods and fields beyond.
